I’m Lisaura, a Spanish-speaking therapist passionate about helping people feel more at ease within themselves and their relationships. My goal is to help you feel present, confident, and connected. 

As a Puerto Rican born and raised, there is nothing like being able to express myself in Spanish, I feel much more at “home”. I also understand how cultural norms and expectations can shape us, sometimes in ways that bring inner conflict. Navigating between Latin American and American cultures can sometimes feel like being caught between two worlds. Even within our own communities, our backgrounds and experiences are unique. 

If you’re feeling torn between family expectations and your own needs, struggling with self-doubt, or just longing to feel more at home within yourself, I can help. Together, we’ll honor your story, your values, and your voice.

A Movement-Based Approach to Therapy

Sometimes, words don’t fully capture what you’re feeling. As a dance therapist, I use movement to help you tune into your body’s signals, process emotions, and find clarity.
